Manchester United have been heavily linked with a transfer for PSG tape player Lucas Moura over the past couple of weeks.

The Brazilian has been out-of-favour following Unai Emery this term, working just 72 minutes of Ligue 1 across five substitute games this term.

We announced on Monday that Lucas Moura had refused bids from other teams because he needs to join Manchester United.
Today, Italian press Gazzetta are stating that the Brazilian has now allowed signing for us.

Lucas joined PSG for £38m five years ago but the transfers of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria in latest terms have seen the gifted dribbler drop down the pecking line in Paris.

This term Jose Mourinho has predominately gone with Juan Mata down the right flank, though the manager is not a big admirer of the Spaniard. Mourinho has also worked with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford in this area but with no progress.

Should we be strong and sign Lucas this month he would be available to play in the knockout stages of this term’s Champions League as he has not played for Paris Saint-Germain in this season’s tournament.

Various rumours hint we’ll need to agree a fee within £35-40m with the fugitive French Ligue 1 leads, which in today’s market is nothing.
